It’s Nicki Minaj vs. Steven Tyler in The Latest American Idol Feud!

Nothing gets better than a bit of American Idol drama. At first it was Nicki vs. J-Lo then Nicki vs. Mariah and now it’s Nicki vs. Steven. In the latest drama which once again involves Miss Nicki Minaj, Aerosmith legend Steven Tyler made a rather rude and offensive comments during an interview he did for MTV. During the interview Steven commented on the new American Idol judges and there judging abilities when he said “If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield. Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out.”

Nicki Minaj who is prone to celebrity beef quickly fired back at Steven Tyler on Twitter by replying with multiple tweets which said “Steven Tyler said I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield??? Steven, you haven’t seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet! You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan???. Why? Black? Rapper? What? Go f*** yourself and worry about yourself babe”. She continued to reply to his comments by saying “I understand you really wanted to keep your job, but take that up with the producers. I haven’t done anything to you. That’s a racist comment”. Steven apologized to Nicki for phrasing the context of the sentence badly and states that he is far from a racist.

This is not the first time Nicki has been in a publicized argument with another celebrity. Earlier this year Nicki and fellow American Idol judge Mariah Carey got into a heated argument whilst at the New York auditions which was filmed and quickly went viral. Also it is known that Nicki Minaj and legendary female rapper Lil’ Kim have been in a back and fourth argument for the last couple years.

It’s officially Nicki vs. Anyone who has anything to do with American Idol! But who’s side are you on? #teamnicki or #teamsteven?
