The X Factor 2012: Bootcamp Review and Which Judge Got What Act!

Aww, The X Factor. Some things just never change. Last night, the final stage of bootcamp aired and as usual some of the good acts went home and some of the novelty acts *cough cough Rylan* went through to the judges houses. It was a disappointing bootcamp finale considering that some of the acts who I thought deserved to go through went home like Melanie from the Girls category and Jade; who auditioned last year and won the crowd over with her rendition of Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’.

Untalented acts like Rylan and Nicola sailed through to the judges houses. I think I speak for most of the British nation when I say ‘WTF HAPPENED TONIGHT ON THE X FACTOR?’. Some acts definitely deserved to go through like James from the Boys category and Nathan; who is an already established musician.

When it came time for the judges to get given there acts by the one and only Simon Cowell, I have to admit I was grinding my teeth. I am glad that Nicole got the boys because I personally feel like there the best category. Louis got the groups, Tulisa got the girls and finally Gary got the over 28s. I don’t think Gary was happy about receiveing the over 28s but at least they didn’t get Louis. After Little Mix being the first group to ever win the X Factor, I think Louis might have a chance in winning cause some of the groups this year okay.

Tulisa is sitting pretty with the girls however I’m not a fan of the girl category this year. I’m really feeling them as much as last year. Next week is judges houses and the guest judges are having everyone buzzing. Louis’ guest judge is Sharon Osbourne, Nicole’s guest judge is R&B superstar Ne-Yo, Tulisa’s guest judge is R&B star Tinie Tempah and Gary’s guest judge is the nation’s sweetheart Cheryl Cole. Next week looked promising!

The X Factor UK Returns 18th August!

The X Factor UK is due to return the 18th of August and even though everyone else excited to see the UK’s biggest reality TV show return, I on the other hand am not. As much as I adore the show and it’s creator Simon Cowell, I honestly don’t think i’m ready to stomach another series of The X Factor. Everyone is aware of the dramas that have followed this series before the show has even started. If you have forgotten, let me refresh your memory! Well, Kelly Rowland made that dramatic exit after the Misha B bullying drama that was fueled by Tulisa. According to reports, her real reasoning for leaving was because she asked for more money and the X Factor bosses said no. The show was then left stranded in the ocean when it was revealed that there was no one possible to replace Kelly!

Over the course of the summer, The X Factor has had to ask several celebrities to guest judge the show while they was looking for a permanent judge to replace Kelly Rowland. Rita Ora, Mel B, Anastasia, Geri Halliwell and Leona Lewis had all taken the offer to be guest judges on the X Factor. It was announced a month ago that Nicole Scherzinger would officially replace Kelly Rowland. Am I the only one that finds Nicole quite boring to watch especially after seeing her on The X Factor US 2011?

I personally really wanted Kelly to return this series but it was quite obvious that she wasn’t going to. If anything I will only watch the auditions and that’s it. I’m not a big fan of Tulisa or Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh is IRRELEVANT. I have no general interest in this years series. None what so ever!

You can watch The X Factor UK which returns 18th August on ITV.

The X Factor 2012: Nicole Scherzinger & Gary Barlow CLASH!

Nicole Scherzinger, the newest X Factor judge has reportedly fallen out with Take That’s lead singer Gary Barlow. According to reports, Nicole engaged in a heated disagreement with Gary Barlow after she fell and tripped in front of everyone. The former Pussycat Dolls singer replaced Kelly Rowland as a permanent judge on the UK X Factor after being embarrassing booted off of the USA version.

Since the live auditions for 2012’s X Factor started there has been reported clashes with the other judges. Sources revealed that apparently Rita Ora and Tulisa got into something whilst Rita was guest judging for 2 days. Nicole apparently got booed by the audience who did’t take kindly to her argument with Mr. Barlow. All yelling and screaming aside, the real question at hand is will Nicole make a better judge than Kelly Rowland?
