The Brits 2013: Emeli Sandé and Ben Howard Win Big With Two Wins Each!

Last night the 02 arena hosted the 2013 Brit Awards and every act that you thought was going to win did! Last night saw Britain’s new sweetheart Emeli Sandé win big at the Brits when she won two awards; one for best female and the other for best British album. We also saw British singer Ben Howard win two awards as well. Last night he won best breakthrough act and best male. Other winners from last night include Frank Ocean who won best international male,  Mumford and Sons who won best British group, Lana Del Ray who won best international female, Coldplay who won best live act and Adele who picked added another Brit award to be trophy cabinet when she won best British single for Skyfall.

Last night’s performers included Emeli Sandé, Mumford & Sons, Muse, One Direction, Robbie Williams, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake and Ben Howard. Justin Timberlake took to the stage and added a touch of class as he performed his new single Mirrors at the Brits. Emeli performed two of her famous hits Clown and Next To Me which closed the show. One Direction bought a bit of bubblegum love to the Brits as they performed One Way or Another which is there new single for Comic Relief and Mumford & Sons gave the whole stadium goosebumps as they performed there hit single I Will Wait. Taylor Swift went all bad ass on us last night as she performed I Knew You Were Trouble in front of ex boyfriend Harry Styles. Awkward…Yes We Know!

James Corden presented the show last night and disappointed every one with his unfunny humor and rubbish jokes. Nick Grimshaw, Jordan Dunn, Louis Smith, Sharon Osbourne and Jack Whitehall were just some of the celebrities that took to the stage to present the awards last night. Sharon Osbourne being Sharon Osbourne took the micky out of Harry Styles’ penis which didn’t go down too well with the one direction fans on Twitter. I thought last night’s show went well.
